WHAT IS LIFE COACHING?


Life coaching is a widely misunderstood approach.


Life Coaching is a profession which is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counseling.  The coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in the client's personal life, relationships or profession.  We do this by examining what is going on right now, discovering what your obstacles or challenges might be, and choosing a course of action to ensure your Best Life.


Life Coaching is a designed alliance between coach and client where the coaching relationship continually gives all the power back to you, the client.  We believe that you know the answers to every question or challenge you may, even if those answers appear to be obscured, concealed or hidden.

ABOUT US

Finding the right Life Coach can be a very tough process.  In order to gain the most benefits from your Life Coach, you will require a good rapport with your Life Coach.  This is why LM Therapies offers you a free Introductory Session.


 

During your Introductory Session, your Life Coach will chat with you about various topics.  This helps build a rapport between Coach and Client.  The aim of this session is to ensure you feel comfortable with your Life Coach as well as establishing your aims and expectations from Life Coaching.


 

Once you have found your Life Coach, it is important to schedule regular sessions with them.  Initially we suggest weekly sessions as this helps you gain momentum with the skills and techniques you’re given to help you achieve your goals. 


 

As you become more familiar with the Life Coaching process, the frequency of your sessions can be reduced.  At this stage, we recommend at least one session per month to check in with your Life Coach to ensure your living your Best Life.  As you work towards your goals, your goals may change or differ to those in the Introductory Session.  Please do not worry about this, your Coach will adapt to your needs and additional sessions can be arranged if required.  At LM Therapies, we understand life does not stand still and the world is constantly changing.  Our job is to help you achieve your hopes and dreams.


 

All sessions last between 45 to 60 minutes to ensure both Coach and Client stay focused on your goals.  Sessions can take place via telephone, messenger, email or Skype, whatever you feel most comfortable with.  We recommend block booking your sessions to ensure you make time for your goals.

Linda is a fully qualified Sports and Holistic Therapist.  Her career has allowed her to work with a variety of clients ranging from recreational sports participants to professional athletes and footballers.


As a Therapist, Linda works with a variety of clients, helping them gain the confidence and knowledge they need to help them make informed decisions.

DEREK SIMPSON


During his working life, Derek has had a varied careers.  As a keen sportsman, Derek grew up around sports, specifically swimming, football and outdoor bowling.  At a young age Derek gained his football coaching badges.


In the past few years, Derek has gained valuable experience in the hospitality industry and possesses outstanding customer service skills.
